I too noticed the same issue, however, and there’s a bit of a trick to getting it to boot into Mac OS X each time, rather than Windows. What I'm trying to achieve is if I'm near my mac mini (10 meters) I want to press a button (or something else) on my ipod touch and than my mac mini should boot up.

The tutorial you are about to read has six main sections. I triple boot my system, just none of the OS's are mac. LoL Install one harddrive followed by the OS for it. Install the second hard drive, disconnect the sata cable on the 1st drive, install the next os. Reconnect the first hdd. Power on and enter the bios. In the boot order select which hdd you want to be your normal bootup OS. Now when you want to boot up to the other OS you simply press the f-key option to 'select boot device' during POST (often its f11 or f12) and select the other drive. Boot Camp graduated from beta, or near-finished, status with the arrival of Leopard. Boot Camp Assistant software is stored in the Utilities folder inside the Applications folder. Boot Camp itself is free. You have to supply your own single-disc or downloadable full-install version of Windows; an upgrade disc won’t cut it.

I think during the Linux Minux install it overwrote the boot partition, so I can no longer boot into macOS, even though I see the 600 GB macOS partition is there. Any thoughts on how I can fix that without going into an Apple Store and having them fix the boot partition? Fortunately I have all my files backed up with both Time Machine on an external drive and on Backblaze, so no fears of loosing data. Thanks, using the Option key during boot nearly works. Holding down the Option key allows me to select Macintosh HD and boot macOS, but it does not allow me to make a OS selection.
