Hey Tom's Hardware! I've decided to hold onto my 15' Retina MacBook Pro for a while because it cost me a lot of money and it's got an amazing display. Memorex label design studio 5.0.

Here’s what seems to have worked for me: with my left fingertip on the cable holding the connector directly above the female, I used the spudger to press down the flat back of the connector, initially at the top and then sliding along toward the neck. I used normal pressure, and voila, when I lifted the spudger away the wretched wire didn’t spring up again.
After this step - it’s true, you have about 12 connectors and dozens of screws to unplug, but I didn’t have any major problems. REASSEMBLY - I had to use alot of force to get the official IFIXIT battery connect to push into place to actually connect. I was worried that one of the wires would stress and break. It worked, but it was not super easy this part.
I am going to get the 15 inch macbook, already bought a brand new keyboard and mouse. Speakers i am already set. Just stuck on what to do monitor wise. Due to the single wire charging etc of the new macbooks i am going to go LG.
